Class teacher

🍳 What You Will Do
Lead and deliver our structured, fun after-school cooking clubs for primary school children.
Set up the classroom kitchen space and guide children safely through recipes.
Foster a positive, encouraging environment where children can experiment with flavors and build confidence.
Pack away and leave the school space clean and tidy at the end of the session.
👤 What We Are Looking For
The Energy: You are lively, patient, and love working with children.
The Foodie: You don't need to be a Michelin-starred chef, but you must be a confident home cook who loves food.
The Essentials:
Transport is essential to get yourself and kit to different school locations in Epsom.
An Enhanced DBS check with baring check is required (we can help arrange this for the right candidate).
Food Hygiene Training (or a willingness to complete a quick online certification before starting).
Area manager
Location: Epsom, Ewell, Ashtead, and Leatherhead area (Local travel required)
Position Type: Part Time/ Management
Are you passionate about food, community, and education? Grow Cook Enjoy is looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised Area Manager to lead and grow our vibrant cooking community across the Epsom, Ewell, Ashtead, and Leatherhead areas.
In this role, you will be the face and the engine of the area. Hands-on in the kitchen teaching classes, while leading the local team and implimenting business operations behind the scenes.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Class Instruction & Delivery: Personally lead and teach engaging, high-quality cooking classes for our diverse community groups.
Business & Hub Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations across your territory, including scheduling, resource planning,
Team Leadership: Recruit, manage, and inspire a local team of class assistants and teachers, ensuring everyone maintains our warm, educational standards.
Community Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for local venues, schools, and partners in the Epsom, Ewell, Ashtead, and Leatherhead areas.
👤 Who We Are Looking For
The Cook & Teacher: You have strong culinary skills and love sharing that knowledge with others. Experience in teaching, workshops, or community leadership is highly valued.
The Coordinator: You are incredibly organized. Managing schedules, staff rotas, and event logistics doesn't stress you out—it's where you shine.
The People Leader: You know how to motivate a small team and communicate warmly with clients, parents, and community partners alike.
The Local: Ideally, you live within or very close to the Epsom/Leatherhead area and hold a valid UK driving license with access to a vehicle for local travel.
